About: Caspian Films is a production company founded in 2018 by producers Thembisa Cochrane and Georgie Paget to make engaging, entertaining films and series with unique voices and fresh perspectives for international audiences with a focus on international partnerships. Completed feature films include D.R. Hood’s sophomore family drama Us Among the Stones (2019), and biopic of the iconic British artist Clarice Cliff The Colour Room (2021), directed by Claire McCarthy (Ophelia), starring Phoebe Dynevor (Bridgerton) and Matthew Goode (The Imitation Game) which was released in UK cinemas and on Sky in November 2021.
The company is in development on a variety of other films and drama series with acclaimed UK and international talent. They have announced My Driver & I, an Arabic-language coming-of-age story which will shoot in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2022, the feature debut from internationally award-winning actress and writer-director Ahd Kamel.
