US Broadcasters Webinar Series: Courtney White, Travel Channel

As part of our preparations for Realscreen 2017, we are organising a series of webinars with leading US broadcasters with the aim of making as much information as possible available about the current factual programming market in North America. The series is supported by the Department for International Trade (DIT).

On Thursday 15th December at 2.00pm we will have a webinar with Courtney White: SVP of Programming at Travel Channel.

Courtney White was promoted to Senior Vice President of Programming for Travel Channel in December 2015. Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President of Program Development and Production for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country, where she managed several series and pilots. White was also charged with identifying new on-air talent and developing multi-platform programs to accompany new programming. White has created several of HGTV’s highest-rated series including: Beachfront Bargain Hunt, Hawaii Life, Selling Spelling Manor and Ellen’s Design Challenge.

Before joining Scripps Networks Interactive in 2005, White was Director of Development and Senior Producer at Working Dog Productions, where she developed HBO’s Emmy-nominated Dealing Dogs, National Geographic Channel’s Living with Exotics and Designer Dogs and PBS’s The Adirondacks.

White holds a BFA in film and television from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
