The Media Production Show 2019

Olympia London, 11th & 12th June 2019

Now in its fourth year, The Media Production Show (MPS) has gone from strength to strength to become the leading showcase for talent and technology in the UK. MPS was launched in response to demand for a key UK event that brought leading technology manufacturers and service providers together to share insights impacting the future of content creation.

More than 5,300 visitors attended the show last year, with that figure set to grow this year. New theatres and zones have been introduced to June’s event based on feedback from both delegates and exhibitors around what they wanted to see at the show. New for this year is the Post & Technology Hub, which will feature a series of panels dedicated to the latest technology and case studies across AI, HDR, security and connectivity. A new Production and Lighting Theatre which will hold sessions on lighting on location and studio environments and a Sports Zone which will offer delegates dedicated seminars around fan engagement, multicamera direction, live streaming and specialised sports exhibitors.

MPS hosts an incredibly strong programme line-up and 2019 will be no different, offering delegates sessions that will delve into the production of entertainment behemoths Britain’s Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing, hits The Long Run and new series Snatch, as well as exclusive insight into Oscar-winning film Bohemian Rhapsody from its production designer, Aaron Haye. Other big-name speakers include Sound 24’s Glenn Freemantle, sound designer and editor of Netflix hit movie Bird Box and upcoming Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis Beatles-themed romantic comedy, Yesterday ;Sound editor and dubbing mixer Lucy Mitchell, whose recent work includes hit series Derry Girls; and Chris Dickens, editor of epic musical fantasy about Sir Elton John’s breakthrough years, Rocketman.

MPS 2019 is the place to meet and plan future collaboration with key professionals such as directors, producers, commissioners, camera operators, cinematographers, creative directors, editors, engineers, location managers, VFX Artists and many more.
