IWA Cardiff Media Summit 2017

The third annual IWA Cardiff Media Summit on "The future of media in Wales" takes place on Wednesday 29th March.

Hosted by the Institute of Welsh Affairs (IWA) in partnership with BBC Cymru Wales and University of South Wales, and supported by ITV Cymru Wales, S4C and TAC, the summit has established itself as a major forum for media in Wales, linked to long-term research, analysis and impact.

This year it will interrogate major issues affecting the media in Wales, including the workforce, Welsh language media provision and news from and for Wales. Staff from the Welsh universities will be present to showcase their latest media research.

The day will open with special analysis from Claire Enders, Founder of Enders Analysis, on the likely future of the media in Wales and will also include an in-depth interview with BBC Director of Content, Charlotte Moore.
