Hiring Non-UK Animators in UK’s Post-Brexit Immigration System

With approximately one third of animation professionals in the UK coming from overseas, visa and immigration issues are topics that frequently arise in the recruitment process.

Over the course of this 90 minute session, attendees will explore the main visa routes for animation professionals in the UK’s new points based immigration landscape, visa sponsorship by UK employers, and what Brexit actually means for hiring overseas talent. The session will also briefly look at employment law considerations when hiring staff to work remotely from overseas.
