Creative Industries focus at the Liverpool International Business Festival
Designer Wayne Hemingway will act as host, steering speakers including Simon Segars, the man who built ARM Holdings into a British tech giant, and Jonathan Hammond, of Unilever Foundry - through the burning topics, such as digital disruption and accessing the right talent.
A ‘Knowledge Hub’ will offer practical sessions highlighting opportunities in production and post-production and the benefits to creative professionals of engaging with nature. Meanwhile, companies working in AR/VR, immersive techs, film/animation/creative content, gaming, healthcare and education, and training will pitch to investors from the stage.
Past Festivals have facilitated £500m of deals and up to 30,000 delegates are expected at this year’s three-week event. An online platform will allow ticketholders to fix meetings in advance - including with delegates attending the linked Major Events Summit, Discovering Real Business Opportunities in the Asian Markets, and European Search Conferences.
