Overview
Great content is shaped by diverse perspectives - differences in thought, background and lived experience are what make ideas resonate. But bringing together people with varied expectations of what a creative workplace looks like can sometimes create tension.
This interactive session with Creative Diversity Consultant, Elonka Soros, will look at how leaders can impliment an inclusive culture when time is tight, pressure is high and resources are stretched. It will cover:
-
What is meant by inclusive leadership and what it looks like
-
The challenges of managing diversity in the workplace
-
Practical actions to impliment in day-to-day interactions with colleagues
-
Some of the ways colleagues may face exclusion or discrimination and ways to mitigate these
-
Managing conflicts and challenges that arise with fairness and confidence
-
Encouraging teams to collaborate effectively in an environment that is respectful, inclusive and enables everyone to do their best work
This session is designed for and available to anyone working for a TV, film, digital or audio production company, both Pact members and non-members. We encourage senior leadership teams to attend.
If you do not have an existing Pact website login, you will need to register for an account as part of the registration process. This is a quick and simple process and you do not have to work for a Pact member company in order to register.
