Led by a lived experience trainer, this session provides a strengths-based overview of neurodivergence and practical guidance on adapting systems and removing barriers for professionals in the film, TV and audio industries, including:

Neurodivergence

  • What language to use
  • A brief explanation of the science of neurodivergence and how it might present at work
  • Difficulties you might see in the workplace through the lens of executive functioning
  • Sensory differences and what to do to help
     

Practical
Solutions

  • What you need to think about when an employee discloses diagnosis
  • Accessible communication
  • An introduction to TAP and the 5As
  • Where and how to access specific support

This session is designed for and available to anyone working for a TV, film, digital or audio production company, both Pact members and non-members. We encourage senior leadership teams to attend.
