Join this session to gain a deeper understanding of the role of an Access Coordinator and how they support productions in embedding meaningful access for Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent cast and crew.

Event
Overview

This session aims to demystify the role of an Access Coordinator, offering an in-depth look at how they support productions to embed inclusive practices for Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent cast and crew.

Led by Eli Beaton, Project Lead of the TV Access Project (TAP), the session will outline the shared approach across TAP members to standardise and fund the role, alongside ongoing work to support productions in engaging Access Coordinators.

The session will cover:

  • What an Access Coordinator does
  • How Access Coordinators operate across scripted and unscripted productions
  • Where to find Access Coordinators and how to engage them
  • How the role is funded

This session is designed for and available to anyone working for a TV, film, digital or audio production company, both Pact members and non-members. We encourage senior leadership teams to attend.

If you do not have an existing Pact website login, you will need to register for an account as part of the registration process. This is a quick and simple process and you do not have to work for a Pact member company in order to register.
