Bernard Clark joined the BBC in 1968 working as a BBC Correspondent, reporting for Nationwide and originating Watchdog and Bookmark. In 1985 he set up Clark TV, a Pact independent production company.

Bernard has been the executive producer of hundreds of documentaries and series, including many award winners. He helped establish TVT in 1994, which has grown to be one of the UK's largest versioning and translation companies.

In 2009, Harper Collins published his best selling book, A Mother Like Alex.
