Monitoring Your Organisation or Production

Equality monitoring is recommended by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) in order to build a more diverse and inclusive workplace.

It is a requirement for many broadcasters, commissioners and financiers, and you should check with your commissioner/broadcaster/funder for their specific requirements. Legally, equality monitoring is not mandatory in the private sector, but in this section we explain why you might choose to monitor and how your organisation can go about it.
