Understanding Antisemitism

This workshop focuses on understanding anti-Jewish racism and specific challenges in the workplace as well as providing the tools to create inclusive workplace environments.

Antisemitism in the UK has risen to the most unprecedented levels since recording began. An estimated 70% of British Jews are hiding their identity while almost 50% have considered leaving Britain since 7th October 2023.

In the workplace, many Jewish people have felt isolated or unseen. In some instances, they have also experienced hostile encounters.

In this Understanding Antisemitism workshop, Founder of Maximize Consultancy, Michal Oshman and Founder of Educating Matters, Rachel Vecht will help you:

  • understand anti-Jewish racism and the 2000 year history of hatred
  • gain insights into the lived experience of Jewish people in the UK today and specific challenges in the workplace
  • acquire the tools to create inclusive workplace environments
  • feel safe to share experiences and ask questions

This session is designed for and available to anyone working for a TV or film production company, both Pact members and non-members. We encourage senior leadership teams to attend.

If you do not have an existing Pact website login, you will need to register for an account as part of the registration process. This is a quick and simple process and you do not have to work for a Pact member company in order to register.
