Inclusive Leadership: Creating Inclusive Teams

Many leaders and managers are hired for their creative strengths, yet they also carry the responsibility of building diverse teams fairly. This session offers leaders practical advice on how to implement an inclusive culture.

Event
Overview

Great content is shaped by diverse perspectives - differences in thought, background and lived experience are what make ideas resonate. But bringing together people with varied expectations of what a creative workplace looks like can sometimes create tension.

This interactive session with Creative Diversity Consultant, Elonka Soros, explores how leaders can impliment an inclusive culture when time is tight, pressure is high and resources are stretched. It will cover:

  • What inclusive leadership means in practice

  • The challenges of managing diversity in the workplace

  • Practical actions to impliment in day-to-day interactions

  • Some of the ways colleagues may face exclusion or discrimination and ways to mitigate these

  • Managing conflicts and challenges that arise with fairness and confidence

  • Encouraging effective collaboration in a respectful, inclusive environment that enables everyone to thrive

This session is designed for and available to anyone working for a TV, film, digital or audio production company, both Pact members and non-members. We encourage senior leadership teams to attend.

If you do not have an existing Pact website login, you will need to register for an account as part of the registration process. This is a quick and simple process and you do not have to work for a Pact member company in order to register.
