"Content Without Borders was a gamechanger"
Earlier this month, across two days in Birmingham and Stratford-upon-Avon, we hosted the 2022 edition of Content Without Borders (CWB).
Over 100 UK indies attended and were given opportunities to hear from and meet with 27 commissioners and buyers from all over the world, with over 500 1-2-1 meetings taking place. Here's what Heidi Gomes, Creative Director at Pact Future30 company Bowled Over Media had to say about her experience...
A real win for those who struggle to get noticed because you are a smaller indie, or not a regular supplier.

Heidi Gomes, Bowled Over Media
As an indie lucky enough to be part of the Future30 scheme, over the last year we have had invites and opportunities which any production company would be keen to experience – one to ones with industry heavyweights, dinners, trips, lots of really informative webinars and no end of support – but Content Without Borders was a gamechanger.
Face to face social time with commissioners both from the UK and abroad, ideas for people to pitch content to that would never have occurred to us, relationships built so you know your email pitch will be answered and considered in the future, because of a personal relationship and shared experience you have had – a real win for those who struggle to get noticed because you are a smaller indie, or not a regular supplier.
There was a lovely atmosphere from the beginning, supportive chats with other producers and new friendships made, and a ‘speed-dating’ style 10-minute pitch, where you had the commissioners’ full attention, before a bell rang and you moved to the next table.
Great hospitality and several production opportunities that are already in development!
A really wonderful 2 days and I will definitely be making it a calendar highlight for the future.
