Slam Media is a boutique independent production company based in the heart of Llandaf, Cardiff. Led by Geraint Rhys Lewis and Aled Llyr, we’re a small but dynamic team of talented young creatives passionate about producing high-quality, distinctive content.
We specialise in factual entertainment, with acclaimed series such as Cefn Gwlad, Cyfrinachau’r Llyfrgell, Y Llinell Las for S4C, as well as A Special School for the BBC and RTS Cymru award-winning documentaries such as Hywel Gwynfryn 80.
Our portfolio also includes ambitious live sports and event coverage such as the Welsh Open Snooker (BBC), Royal Welsh Show, Eisteddfod yr Urdd, Triathlon Cymru, Ironman Wales, Ras Itera, and Cardiff Half Marathon (S4C).
We’re proud to collaborate with other specialist industry partners including Dreamteam TV, Boom Cymru, and Afanti, producing over 200 hours of original content each year.
As a small company with big ambitions, we continue to innovate and grow.
Most recently, we’ve developed our own in-house quiz format, Y Deis, for S4C – a project supported by both Media Cymru and Creative Wales. The format has already been sold to TG4 in Ireland, marking an exciting step in our international ambitions.
