Jet TV

Overview

Jet TV is a female-led production company, based in Cardiff, producing unscripted content in both English and Welsh (founder, Yvonne Alexander is a Welsh learner) as well as digital content and podcasts.

We produced Treasure Sisters for BBC's Our Lives, which launched the series in Wales. For S4C, we've produced programmes in the Byd Eithafol strand, including Efengylwyr - Oes Atgyfodiad? and Neo Nazis yn ein Plith, presented by Maxine Hughes, and are currently producing a third programme with her. We have also produced digital content for S4C featuring Wrexham co-owner, Rob McElhenney and farmer, Gareth Wyn Jones. Prior to our move to Wales in 2023, we produced live stage shows with Mel B and the Pride of Scotland Awards for STV.

Yvonne’s credits also include Showrunner/Exec on 80 episodes of Piers Morgan's Life Stories, Welcome to HMP Belmarsh with Ross Kemp, The Pride of Britain Awards, The NHS Heroes Awards, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Paedophile, and Rylan's How to be a Man podcast for Radio 4/BBC Sounds. Her Welsh language Executive Producer credits include Wrecsam - Clwb Ni (Wildflame)  Llofruddiaeth y Bwa Croes (Zwwm), and Symud i Gymru (Little Bird).

We're over the moon to be selected for Pact Future Wales – it's exactly what we need for Jet TV to really take off! We're looking forward to taking full advantage of the opportunities offered by the scheme to help us to grow into a global business, utilising the exceptional talent and facilities we have here in Wales. Diolch yn fawr.
