The Wales Screen Summit has recently announced some of its key speakers, including Jordan Schwarzenberger (pictured), co-founder of management company Arcade Media who manage The Sidemen, the UK's most wellknown collective of YouTubers and social media influencers that has more than 244 million cross-channel followers. Welsh presenter and journalist Steffan Powell, known for his work across BBC Radio 1, Radio 5 Live, S4C and BBC television, including Doctor Who: Unleashed and X-Ray, will host.
Pact CEO, John McVay OBE and Head of Nations & Regions, Chris Curley will also be speaking at the event, which will offer a range of talks and panels touching on the current state of the screen industries in Wales as well as looking to the future of the sector in an AI-powered, digitally transformed world. There will be networking opportunities for attendees and a new pitching competition to bring a format idea aimed at Gen Z audiences to life with Hansh and S4C. The winning pitch will receive a £3,000 development grant. Ideas can be submitted online until Tuesday 16th September.
