Latest BBC Reports Show Rise in Contestable Hours but Overall Content Spend Down

The BBC's Commissioning Supply Report for 2023/24 shows that 77% of eligible TV hours were contested, up from 63% in 2022/23. However, the corporation's overall content spend is down and it commissioned fewer suppliers.
