Free Sustainability Services for Pact Members to Launch in 2026

From January, Pact members will be able to benefit from free sustainable business and production support, provided by film and TV sustainability specialists, Picture Zero.

09 Dec 2025

We are introducing free sustainable business and production support for Pact members, provided by film and TV sustainability specialists, Picture Zero.

In 2026, members will be able to:

  • request tailored advice via 15-minute advisory phone consultations with follow up emails
  • attend quarterly webinars on sustainability
  • access exclusive, regularly updated sustainability resources on topics such as transport, power, circularity, catering, biodiversity, cast and crew engagement and editorial storytelling, and a data workbook

Sustainability has become an increasingly important consideration for productions. Many producers want to minimise the environmental impact of their businesses, and many broadcasters and streamers now include sustainability requirements in their commissioning agreements. The intention of this new membership benefit is to support independent producers – especially small-to-medium-sized companies – as the industry works towards a shared long-term goal of net zero.

The services will launch online in the Pact Resource Hub in January, and we will inform members as soon as they are available.
