Opportunity
Overview

The EAVE Producers Workshop is aimed at producers of fiction and documentary films and TV series who want to expand their operation internationally by increasing their knowledge of producing and co-producing in Europe and by building up an international professional network.

Each year, over 50 participants are selected from across Europe and beyond and take part in three, week-long workshops. The 2026 Workshops will take place in Luxembourg (March), Italy (June) and the third location is TBC (October/November). Half of the participants attend the course with projects which they can develop through intense focus with colleagues and experts throughout the year. The other half participate in order to focus on developing their companies or careers.

Pact offers a scholarship for one UK participant to take part in the Workshop in the name and memory of Dorothy Viljoen, an internationally respected media business affairs professional who worked with Pact and played a central role in negotiating the Terms of Trade. Dorothy was involved with the EAVE programme as a negotiation expert from 1991 to 2009. The scholarship covers the membership fee for the workshop, which has a value of €3,000.
