A. Yes. With the right currency broker, you can book a EUR exchange rate forward, protecting you against any adverse currency movements. With these contracts, you will always know exactly what is coming out of your bank account.

Film Location Permits
Permitting in Kosovo is a very straightforward process. No extraordinary restrictions or rules apply.
Customs
For productions looking to bring in film equipment, Kosovo is not an ATA carnet country.
Only the most basic camera, grip and lighting equipment is available locally. Therefore, it is best to bring in all equipment from abroad.

Kosovo has a continental climate with Mediterranean and alpine influences.
The summers (June to September) are warm to hot, and the winters (November to March) tend to be cold and snowy. Weather-wise, May to September are the best months to shoot.
Kosovo is a predominately Muslim country. Ramadan is widely observed with many services closed during this period.

Costs & VAT
In Kosovo, locations, local talent and support crew are inexpensive. However, since little to no filming infrastructure exists, all key crew and equipment must be brought in from abroad.
The standard VAT rate in Kosovo, at the time of writing, is set at 18%.
