Alderney is a Bristol-based film and television producer, best known for their work in animation and children’s television, and for championing people‑centred production practices. She is a BAFTA Breakthrough Producer (2025), recognised by BAFTA and Netflix for contributions to the creative industry, television and production leadership specifically for their work on ‘Maddie + Triggs’ (CBeebies 2025).

Alderney has overseen and produced several kid’s animated shows which include the debut BBC Ignite show ‘Duck & Frog’ (CBBC, 2026) and Horrible Science’ S1 & S2 as Animation Producer (CBBC 2025/2026). Within these shows she sought and supported new writers and talent pairing them alongside ‘seasoned’ players in the industry creating content that speaks to all the family and represents the real breadth of Britain and the voices within it.

She is also the founder of AMP (Alderney Middleton Productions), where she operates using a “People First” approach focused on wellbeing, inclusive working practices, and sustainable production models and mentorship. With lengthy experience working with broadcasters and compliance, Alderney has overseen and grown multiple studios both as Head of Production and Series Producer, working across animation, live action and short‑form. With this experience she has pitched at global markets securing funding and partnerships and tailor built production teams, liased with DEI, legals and financial stakeholders and delivered multiple overlapping series across the kid’s broadcaster channels. Her company currently hosts a slate of talented writers across kid’s animated content that, as a must, pack comedic punch and a whole lot of heart.
