Future Wales Applications

Overview

Creative Wales and Pact are looking for 10 non-scripted companies to join our Future Wales cohort – an exciting opportunity for companies to get free Pact membership and exclusive benefits to support the Welsh film and TV sector.

To be awarded by a panel of experienced producers and experts, our aim is to provide a range of support to nurture growing companies from around Wales.
 

What
You Get

Who We Are
Looking For

  • Wales registered companies who can prove they are actively trading.
  • Companies whose turnover has not yet exceeded £2,000,000pa.
  • Companies that are:
    • A television production company that has at least one broadcast credit or where one of its founding company directors has an individual broadcast credit in an above the line role within the last four years.

      Or
    • A film production company that has a theatrical release credit or produced a short film that has been nominated for a recognised industry award and/or received public funding.

      Or
    • A content creation company that can demonstrate they have generated income from commercialised content in the last twelve months.

      Or
    • A distribution company that represents a minimum of five UK companies within their catalogue and has sold content to more than two territories.
  • Independent companies in which there is no controlling shareholding or significant influence exerted by a Public Service Broadcaster.
  • Companies that can demonstrate that they would benefit from entry to the scheme.
  • Creative Wales and Pact particularly welcome applications from diverse-led companies known to be underrepresented in the sector.

Timeline

Applications for the scheme are open from Wednesday 17th September and close at 5:00pm on Wednesday 15th October.

A judging panel invited by Creative Wales will consider the applications and the successful 10 companies will be announced before Monday 10th November 2025 with the scheme, and free two-year Pact membership, to actively start on Tuesday 25th November 2025.

  • Dwy flynedd o aelodaeth Pact am ddim – gan roi mynediad i chi at fuddion aelodau llawn, fel cyngor materion busnes, ein cyfres o gontractau templed a chytundebau a Hwb Adnoddau ar-lein.
  • Mynediad at sesiynau hyfforddi/datblygu rheolaidd gydag arweinwyr diwydiant, gweithwyr proffesiynol a chomisiynwyr, wedi'u cynllunio i helpu i feithrin, datblygu a thyfu eich busnes.
  • Gostyngiadau unigryw ar gyfer presenoldeb mewn marchnadoedd a chenhadaethau, lle bo hynny'n bosibl.

Yn chwilio

  • Cwmnïau sydd wedi'u cofrestru yng Nghymru a all brofi eu bod yn masnachu'n weithredol.
  • Cwmnïau nad yw eu trosiant wedi bod yn fwy na £2,000,000 y flwyddyn eto.
  • Cwmnïau sy'n:
  • Cwmni cynhyrchu teledu sydd ag o leiaf un credyd darlledu neu lle mae gan un o'i gyfarwyddwyr cwmni sylfaenol gredyd darlledu unigol mewn rôl uwchben y llinell yn ystod y pedair blynedd diwethaf,

Neu

  • Cwmni cynhyrchu ffilm sydd â chredyd rhyddhau theatrig neu sydd wedi cynhyrchu ffilm fer sydd wedi'i henwebu ar gyfer gwobr gydnabyddedig yn y diwydiant a/neu sydd wedi derbyn cyllid cyhoeddus,

Neu

  • Cwmni creu cynnwys sy'n gallu dangos eu bod wedi cynhyrchu incwm o gynnwys masnachol yn ystod y deuddeg mis diwethaf.

Neu

  • Cwmni dosbarthu sy'n cynrychioli o leiaf bum cwmni o'r DU yn eu catalog ac sydd wedi gwerthu cynnwys i fwy na dwy diriogaeth.
  • Cwmnïau annibynnol nad oes unrhyw gyfranddaliad rheoli neu ddylanwad sylweddol a arferir gan Ddarlledwr Gwasanaeth Cyhoeddus ynddynt.
  • Cwmnïau sy'n gallu dangos y byddent yn elwa o fynediad i'r cynllun.
  • Mae Cymru Greadigol a Chytundeb yn croesawu'n arbennig o geisiadau gan gwmnïau amrywiol y gwyddys eu bod wedi'u tangynrychioli yn y sector.


Amserlen

Mae ceisiadau ar gyfer y cynllun ar agor o ddydd Mercher 17 Medi ac yn cau am 5:00pm ddydd Mercher 15 Hydref.

Bydd panel beirniaid a wahoddir gan Gymru Greadigol yn ystyried y ceisiadau a bydd y 10 cwmni llwyddiannus yn cael eu cyhoeddi cyn dydd Llun 10 Tachwedd 2025 gyda'r cynllun, a'r aelodaeth Pact am ddim am ddwy flynedd i ddechrau'n weithredol ddydd Mawrth 25 Tachwedd 2025.
