Amanda S. Brill is the founder and managing partner at Brill Immigration in London, practicing solely US immigration law. Ms. Brill has practiced US immigration law since 2005 and has been included in the publication Who’s Who Legal: Corporate Immigration as a “Thought Leader” for several years. Ms. Brill has extensive experience with a wide range of immigration issues representing primarily “aliens of extraordinary ability” for O-1 visas in the arts, film, television and other creative fields, as well as investors, multinational corporate entities and innovators and individuals for visa applications at embassies worldwide.
Ms. Brill is routinely invited to speak on and write about US immigration matters and served as the Chair of her professional bar association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (“AILA”), Rome District-EMEA Chapter which includes over 950 US immigration attorneys. She has also been selected to serve on several AILA National committees. AILA is comprised of over 16,000 lawyers and Ms. Brill has served as the Chair and Vice Chair of several inaugural conferences, Chair of AILA University’s Consular Processing Course, Chair and Co-Chair for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services International Operations Liaison Committee winning two President’s Commendation awards for outstanding volunteer service and assistance to the AILA President. Ms. Brill has been featured in The New York Times and has contributed to the seminal Kurzban’s Immigration Law Sourcebook. Ms. Brill was selected as a Massachusetts “Rising Stars 2010 Super Lawyer” and served on a panel of Boston University School of Law (“BUSL”) Prominent Alumni addressing “Mega-Firm Alternatives.”
Ms. Brill is a graduate of the University of Arizona cum laude (1998) and the Boston University School of Law (“BUSL”) (2002). She has a keen interest in fashion, studying at Central Saint Martins in London for a short course in 2018. Ms. Brill is an active volunteer and proud supporter of the arts as a Young Patron for the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and a sponsor of the Oklahoma City Ballet and Sarabande Foundation. Ms. Brill is admitted to practice law in New York.
