Overview
The BAFTA Albert Next Generation Toolkit will launch on Wednesday 16th September and will replace the current toolkit used by film and television productions. But what does this change mean for productions and how can you start to prepare for the transition now?
Pact members are invited to join us for this session with Picture Zero, a sustainability consultancy for film and television production, which will cover:
- what is changing, and how the new web-based calculator and emission categories differ from the current Toolkit
- the two new certification routes, Certified and Committed, and how evidence-based scoring now works
- the new Carbon Footprint Data Tracker, what it does and the rules that catch productions out
- the key dates, and how to work out which toolkit each production should use
- the crossover risk for productions with long post-production periods, and how to avoid losing data
- practical steps producers and production companies can take now to prepare
