The Funding Landscape: What’s Happening in the East?

Independent producers in the East of England are invited to this in-person RTS East and Pact event which will discuss the lack of direct public funding in the region and opportunity for change.

With the recent publication of our report, The Impact of Direct Public Funding for Film and Television in the UK by Alma Economics and the release of our six MADE in the Nations & Regions films, there can be no doubt that there is a lack of direct public funding into the film and television industry in the East of England.

So we have teamed up with Royal Television Society (RTS) East to host a panel in Norwich to discuss what this means for the region, lessons learnt from other parts of the UK and what opportunities there are for things to change.

Pact members can register for free via the RTS East website.
