Respect at Work: Preventing and Tackling Bullying & Harassment in Production

DEI Specialist, Addie Orfila Training

Addie brings over 25 years of film and television experience, having progressed from a runner to Head of Production. Her leadership of small and large teams (350+ members) gives her unique insights into effective team management and positive workplace practices.

With a focus on training and inclusion, Addie helped design the Leadership Essentials program for Heads of Departments with ScreenSkills. Since 2019, she has delivered Anti-Bullying and Harassment Training and Inclusion and Equality Essentials courses, promoting respectful workplaces across the industry. 

Internationally, Addie has designed and delivered anti-bullying training for Netflix in South Africa and co-designed Netflix’s Script to Screen e-learning module in partnership with ScreenSkills.  

She founded her own training company over nine years ago, delivering bespoke training to major industry players, including Netflix, BBC, ITV, NFTS and ScreenSkills. A dedicated mentor, Addie also supports emerging talent through organisations like Women in Film and Television, RTS and ScreenSkills.
