Join us for a breakfast session at Lee & Thompson (L&T) focusing on a wide range of key legal issues at every stage of the TV production process.

Event
Overview

Join legal experts from  L&T specialising in production, finance, corporate, employment, immigration and disputes law for a breakfast session offering a comprehensive overview of the legal fundamentals that producers of all sizes need to consider at every stage of today’s TV production process.

The session will also provide essential advice for early-stage production companies with limited resources as they navigate their journey towards business growth.

The event will cover:

  • Before production: employment, immigration, contracts, content clearance, high-end drama tax relief, script acquisition, IP and development agreements.
  • During production: contracting with streaming platforms, revenue sharing and licensing deals.
  • After (post-) production: copyright infringement, defamation, privacy claims and freelancer contracts.
  • Catalyst: L&T's new legal service designed to support start-ups in the media and tech industries.

Attendees may arrive from 9:00am for coffee and pastries. The session will run from 9:30am to 11:15am, with time for networking.
