She was Head of Media Tax for Grant Thornton and a key member of their Media and Entertainment team for a number of years working with a range of UK and overseas media businesses advising them on tax issues including venture capital and Creative Industry Tax Reliefs. Liz has been closely involved with the introduction of the creative industry tax credits for film, high-end TV, animation, children's TV and games development and has worked with the main UK trade bodies in consultation with HMRC.
