When: 9:00am - 11:00am, Friday 13th March
Where: Pact, 3rd Floor Fitzrovia House, 153 - 157 Cleveland Street, London W1T 6QW
This is a practical session giving casting researchers, assistant producers and producers the confidence to approach and assemble a diverse cast of stellar contributors in factual and factual entertainment genres. It will give casting teams the tools to formulate a successful strategy and find ways to engage effectively with harder-to-access communities.
We will consider diversity in its broadest sense - gender, sexuality, ethnicity, disability and social mobility.
The session includes;
- Accessing communities
- Finding the right language
- Navigating social media
This 2-hour workshop has been designed by Pact and Mel Walden, a freelance Casting Executive.
It is free for Pact members but places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
