Increase to UK National Living and Minimum Wage rates

On Wednesday 1st April 2020 the compulsory National Living Wage (NLW) and National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates are increasing.

The new rates are as follows:

For workers aged 25 or over: £8.72 per hour.

For workers aged 16 and 17: £4.55 per hour.
For workers aged 18 to 20: £6.45 per hour.
For workers aged 21 to 24: £8.20 per hour.
Apprentices aged under 19 (or in the first year of their apprenticeship): £4.15 per hour.
