Venue safety

The venue (Old Billingsgate) is keeping its COVID policy under review whilst they continue to monitor and act on Government advice and recommendations.

Measures they are taking to keep guests and staff safe include:

– increased frequency of cleaning before, during and after events.

– freestanding hand sanitiser stations around the venue

– use of signage to encourage guests and staff to follow good personal hygiene practices

– staff will be encouraged to wear face coverings, in line with Government recommendations

– an air management system is in place which circulates fresh air throughout the venue and will be running constantly, including before and after events

Further information about measures being taken by the venue can be downloaded below:

Old Billingsgate COVID-19 Guidance

Guidance for attendees

We are asking that all attendees take a lateral flow test on the morning of the event, and register it via https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result. If you do not already have access to lateral flow tests, you can order them here: https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests.

If your test result is positive, or if you have COVID symptoms, have been told to isolate, or feel unwell, please do not attend the event and ensure you follow all necessary Government guidance.

We will be carrying out random temperature checks and guests should feel comfortable about wearing a mask at any time throughout the event if they would like to. The venue is large, with high ceilings, and we have limited the number of tables in the main dining hall to ensure they will be reasonably spaced out.

Please share the above information with any guests you have booked tickets for. We have a responsibility to keep each other safe and expect that all guests will follow the above guidelines.

Tickets are non-refundable, but we will allow attendees to transfer their tickets to someone else should any of the above COVID-related reasons prevent them from attending. For details about how to transfer your ticket to someone else, please contact Rebecca@pact.co.uk.

In the event that the Indie Xmas Party must be postponed or cancelled at short notice for reasons outside the control of Pact, we will endeavour to notify guests as quickly as possible, and issue refunds in the event of cancellation.

Pact and the venue are continuing to monitor the Government’s COVID-19 guidance and recommendations and retain the right to update this policy accordingly should these change any time prior to the event.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact susie@underthemoonltd.com.
