His current TV projects include the BBC series ‘The North Water’ written and directed by Andrew Haigh, starring Colin Farrell, Jack O’Connell and Stephen Graham; ‘Slow Horses’ for Apple TV+, starring Gary Oldman; and ‘The Essex Serpent’ for Apple TV+ to be directed by Clio Barnard.
Previous credits include ‘Love, Nina’ written by Nick Hornby, starring Helena Bonham Carter; ‘Top Of The Lake: China Girl’, the highly acclaimed second instalment of Jane Campion’s Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominated series ‘Top of the Lake’ which starred Elisabeth Moss, Gwendoline Christie and Nicole Kidman; the live action television series ‘The New Legends of Monkey’ for Netflix, ABC Australia and TVNZ; and ‘The End’, written by Samantha Strauss for Sky Atlantic and Foxtel.
Kousetta also executive produced the short form series ‘State of the Union’ written by Nick Hornby, directed by Stephen Frears and starring Rosamund Pike and Chris O’Dowd - which premiered at The Sundance Film Festival 2019 and won three Emmy Awards.
Kousetta was co-chair of the Film Policy Group at Pact for two years, and is now the newly elected chair of Pact Council. This year, Kousetta received a special innovation award by the Producers Guild of Great Britain for his extensive work with the Government on their Covid Film and TV Production Restart Scheme.
