Whether you are a new member just starting your first commission or an established company in need of some help, Pact is able to offer support and guidance, all included within the price of your membership.
"Given the limited resources that Pact has at its disposal, I am always amazed by its ability to advise its members on so many issues, in so much detail. That is a credit to the hard work and dedication of the Pact team. Pact is an invaluable resource to the indie sector, which should be offered more support"
Pact’s in-house legal and business affairs team is on hand to provide advice, support and guidance to its members. The team can help with topics including option licensing, copyright and insurance issues, music rights, and artists’ contracts. Pact can also assist with union negotiations and disputes.
Members also have access to Pact’s extensive document library. Online documents include contracts for contributors, location agreements, music licensing and consent forms. The contract templates are updated and fit for purpose, and can be tailored to suit specific requirements. The document library also includes terms of trade documents, broadcaster and union agreements, and guidance notes on a host of topics.
Pact runs regular workshops and seminars for its members. New sessions are regularly listed on the Pact calendar.
If you need more advice than the Pact legal and business affairs team is able to offer, you can contact one of Pact’s professional member companies. Professional members cover topics including business affairs, law and accountancy.
