Diversity

Building on the success of Pact's Diversity Pledge for independent production companies, Pact and all major broadcasters have teamed to launch a new Pledge with the aim of covering the entire industry, including external suppliers and broadcasters' in-house production departments.

The new Pledge has been developed through the Cultural Diversity Network (CDN), an industry forum for broadcasters and other stakeholders, of which Pact is a member. It is an opportunity for broadcasters and producers to work together to build diversity across the production sector, and Pact is asking all members to sign up to the new Pledge, which effectively replaces our previous one.

The CDN/Pact Pledge is supported by an updated version of Pact's Diversity Toolkit, which contains practical advice for independent companies on fulfilling the commitments in the Pledge.
