Pact members' work recognised at 2019 BAFTA Television Awards

Pact members were out in force at the 2019 British Academy Television Awards, which took place in London on Sunday 12th May.

The Founder of Red Production Company, Nicola Shindler was the recipient of this year's Special Award. Nicola has been producing and exec'ing world class television shows with her Manchester-based indie for more than 20 years, including Hillsborough, Happy Valley, Queer as Folk, Clocking Off, Scott & Bailey and Last Tango in Halifax. The award was given in recognition of her outstanding contribution to TV.

Sid Gentle Films' hit drama, Killing Eve, penned by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, won the Drama Series award, and the show's on-screen talent won in the Leading Actress (Jodie Comer) and Supporting Actress (Fiona Shaw) categories.

Patrick Melrose, produced by Pact members Two Cities and Little Island (as well as SunnyMarch) won the Mini Series award, and its star, Benedict Cumberbatch, walked away with the Leading Actor trophy.

Field Day Productions and Little Dot Studios: Short Form Programme: Missed Call (Production Team, with Real Stories)

The Garden Productions - Single Documentary: Gun No. 6 (James Newton, Zac Beattie, Georgina Cammalleri, Rupert Houseman)

Brook Lapping - Specialist Factual: Suffragetes with Lucy Worsley (Production Team)

World Productions - Must See Moment: Bodyguard, Julia Montague assassinated
