The Pact Indie Diversity Scheme is aimed to increase access to those from underrepresented groups – people who might not have otherwise had the opportunity to work in television production. This unique programme is the first of its kind, carefully developed with indies working collectively to improve, nurture and develop new diverse talent. Companies involved in the 2017 scheme were Keo, RDF, Fremantle, Endemol Shine UK, Windfall Films (part of Argonon), All3Media, Maverick, Hat Trick and Warner Brothers
Join the Scheme
We are now looking for more indies to join by 15th December 2017, with the scheme commencing March 2018. Together we can make diversity a reality in our sector.
To find out more about what it entails and how to get involved, please contact Marie Claire – Marieclaire@pact.co.uk.
“The Pact Indie Diversity Scheme is where some of the most successful and creative Production companies collaboratively share best practice and offer a platform of bespoke training both on and off the job. Endemol Shine is proud to be able to participate and drive diversity and inclusion with its other indie partners and Pact”
Bella Lambourne - HR and Operations Director, Endemol ShineUK
“As indies we all know we need to be doing more to ensure our staff reflect the population actually watching our content. This scheme is brilliant and one way of addressing that issue – it’s really well run, the candidates are diverse and whilst the trainees get lots of experience on our productions they also get loads of additional training and support to help ensure they make it in our industry.”
Kate Wilson – Director of Operations, Hat Trick
