Background

The independent production sector has grown dramatically since 2003, due in no small part to ownership of Intellectual Property rights which Pact campaigned so hard to secure.  The opportunity to grow business (which IP ownership affords) gives UK producers a tremendous asset which we help you to exploit thorough our work in this area.

What we do

A key part of our work internationally is to ensure that we create the best business and regulatory opportunities for our members.  We help you exploit your rights internationally by working in close partnership with a range of bodies including the UKTI and regional development agencies to achieve these ends.

On an ongoing basis, we engage in regular policy discussions with government and regulators to help further international exports for our members.

In addition we are founder members of the European independent producer trade body, CEPI and with their help we keep a very close eye on sector development throughout Europe.

We also focus a great deal of our efforts on a range of initiatives internationally to ensure you, as members, have access to markets.
