Pact engages with the Government, Parliament, Ofcom and Europe, as well as with other specialist organisations within the industry. Our fundamental aim is to help encourage innovation and growth, both by actively incentivising companies to develop the best content and services, and by ensuring that the economic and legislative environment does not unduly restrict them.
Our policy is developed with
input from a wide cross section of companies through different
policy groups comprising of members. The policy groups work strategically across a wide range of issues, spanning Nations & regions, film, TV, exports, diversity, and digital media. They all feed into Pact’s elected council of
member representatives, to ensure that our policy is coordinated while
reflecting the diversity of our members.
